We are in the middle of the wedding season and we did not want to miss the opportunity to remember wedding venues near Barcelona.
Lorna & Anthony chose a venue where we often work, and which never ceases to surprise us every time we go.
Each wedding is unique, it has a different feeling and unique characteristics that make it special. Thus, each couple is unique, and so is their wedding.
The space they chose to celebrate their wedding was Almiral de la Font.
A big rural farmhouse located in a privileged environment, surrounded by nature in the middle of the mountains and with views of the sea as well. All in the same place!

Lorna & Anthony's destination wedding in Almiral de la Font
We had been planning this wonderful couple's wedding since 2022, which was when they contacted us as potential suppliers for their wedding.
We undoubtedly remember the day of their tasting, which was in February 2023, since we finally met them in person.And after testing the menu, they confirmed that they wanted to have their wedding with ESKISIT Catering.
L & A had a very special weekend around Sitges. They arrived several days early, and began the events with friends and family on Friday, May 31, continued on Saturday, June 1 with the wedding and ended the long weekend with a pool party for which we also provided catering service, but This time it was in Finger Food delivery.
But let's get to the most important thing; Saturday June 1, 2024

We arrived at the space and got to work; We unload the truck and divide the team to complete in time all the tasks that must be completed before the wedding begins.
We set up the ceremony, we prepare the entire aperitif area with the drinks bar as well as the cocktail furniture and the buffet table, and we prepare the entire front of the house with the dinner setup. To end, we organized and arranged the open bar for the evening party.
In addition to this and at the same time, there are many other activities that we do and are not seen, such as mobilizing all the material, setting up the kitchen, setting up the dismantling area or putting all the beverages in cold storage.
Our catering service began with a welcome drinks before the ceremony. A bar with refreshing drinks to welcome guests; mini mojito, lemonade and water with fruit.
At the end of the emotional, but fun and entertaining ceremony, in which there were also several people who participated (even a friend of the bride and groom sang a beautiful song), we moved on to our favorite part of any wedding…
THE APPETIZER!
Cava cocktail with peach juice, several references served by our team and a delicious buffet with an assortment of paellas to complete the gastronomic experience.
At the same time, a Stereo Star Band duo was in charge of enlivening the aperitif with live music.
4 family photos, more laughter and conversations and the guests moved on to the dinner area. Lorna & Anthony came in a little later with a special song.
The couple was clear from the first moment; They only wanted a plate on the table.
Their choice was to have the main dish directly (they removed the starter) and give the guests the option to previously choose between meat, fish or vegetarian;
Meat: Melow beef in a red wine sauce accompanied by glazed pearl onions and baked potatoes.
Fish: Confit cod with a foamy saffron base accompanied by clams, peas and baked potatoes.
Vegetarian: Spinach and grana padano raviolones in a roquefort sauce.
And, like good Irish, who we all know love potatoes in all their formats, they added potato parmentier as an extra side dish in the center of the tables to share.
We move on to the sweet moment. A refreshing Bacardi Mojito sorbet to wash down the meal a bit, and a cake buffet for dessert starred by: Lemon pie, Chocolate Brownie & Cold Cheesecake with jam.
¡There is no wedding without a party! They finished dinner and it just started to rain when they went to the nightclub. 4 hours of open bar, music & DJ by Stereo Star Band and a delicious midnight snack of pizzas and grilled sandwiches.
Yes, this was one of those weddings that leave you with a very good taste in your mouth.
Tasting menu without having previously booked the wedding?
We know that choosing any supplier for your wedding can be complicated.
