Tom & Angie's “I do” at Masia Brugarolas

We return again to 2024, a year that has brought us very special moments, to remember the incredible wedding of Tom & Angie at Masia Brugarolas.


The young couple was clear that they wanted a space surrounded by nature to celebrate their big day, and after looking for venues with a wonderful green environment, they finally chose a rural villa that have all the requirements they had in mind.


A slightly isolated location, a natural and peaceful environment, several spaces in which to carry out each part of the wedding, accommodation for several people and also, lavender fields.

Getting married at Masia Brugarolas

Located in Castellterçol, approximately 1 hour from Sitges, we find the farmhouse that Tom & Angie chose to hold their wedding.

This is a large 11th century villa surrounded by large spaces full of nature as well as green gardens and an exceptional lavender area.


It is also a 100% ECO space with spectacular corners that will allow you to have a unique and exclusive wedding.

Not only do they offer a unique space for the celebration itself, but they also have 6 different and independent rooms, which in total can accommodate up to 45 people.


A very positive point if you want to offer the option of accommodation to your guests so they can sleep there and not have to drive after this long day.

The couple decided ahead of time how they wanted to use the different parts of the venue, and with that, organize the layout of the wedding.


Following recommendations, since it is one of the most special corners, the lavender area of ​​Masía Brugarolas was where they held the ceremony, outdoors.

They had several corners that formed this first part of the wedding.

Welcome drinks before the ceremony. They added some welcome drinks to welcome the wedding guests, so they could have something to drink while they waited.

Water with fruit, lemonade and a mini mojito were the drinks they could choose from.


Petal bar. Have you heard of this before? It's a different way of arranging the petals that the guests throw at the bride and groom at the end of the ceremony.

In this case, there were different petals and cones, and you could create your own cone with the ones you liked the most.



ESKISIT also took care of setting up the chairs for the ceremony, and Loving the flowers did all the wedding decorations. 


They chose the large garden next to the hall to hold the aperitif. A place that allowed guests to enjoy themselves without any problem thanks to the space available and to be comfortable at the same time, and also allowed them to add several extra details such as chill outs, a photo call, several cocktail tables, a live music group and two buffets.

For dinner they chose the indoor salon. A very good choice because, due to the location, even though it was in May, it was cold at night and that allowed everyone present to enjoy the banquet even more. 


Tom & Angie decided to have a banquet in which they mixed round and rectangular tables, a setup that we love, since it allows for larger groups and also looks spectacular visually.

Gold cutlery, glass dish, green water glass and pink napkin.


The result of their table set up was impressive. Few couples opt for different colors, most select basic colors (like white, beige or grey), and decide to add color with the flowers.

They, however, did the same with the furniture.

After dinner, there is another part of the wedding that is usually the most lively, no matter what the celebration is.

Tom and Angie danced, and then, the party began!

3 hours of open bar, including a pizza supper and a photo booth, to finish the “I do” at Masia Brugarolas by Tom & Angie.

The wedding menu

As we have already talked about welcome drinks, we will go directly to the aperitif.

They decided they wanted their sit-down dinner to be a little shorter than usual, so they expanded the appetizer with 2 buffets, and the sit-down menu consisted of a main course, sorbet, and dessert.


In the appetizers served by our team we found a bit of everything, with several vegetarian references. The catalan toast with roasted vegetables and anchovy, our famous fig jam tartlet with goats cheese, the mini pita with falafel and yogurt sauce, the prawn with crispy kataifi pasta and irresistible mushroom and chicken homemade croquettes. 


The buffets that accompanied the cocktail time were:

Cheese and Iberian corner: selection of national cheeses and Iberian sausages accompanied by artisan breads, breadsticks, jam and fruit.

Sushi corner. A must if you are a lover of Asian cuisine!

Avocado maki, mango maki, vegetable gyozas, tuna maki, salmon nigiri and California uramaki.



How to give a plus to cocktail hour?

Add a signature cocktail. They offered Moscow Mule at the appetizer drinks bar.


Let's move on to the banquet!

This was dominated by a single main course on the table;

Duck confit accompanied by pears in red wine, glazed pearl onions and Pedro Ximénez sauce.

For vegetarians; Raviolones with fresh cheese, spinach and grana padano with Roquefort cheese sauce.


We continued with a refreshing passion fruit sorbet and finished with a delicious two-flavor wedding cake; crunchy chocolate (Ferrero Rocher flavor) and lemon, accompanied by coffees.

Finally they had 3 hours of open bar for the party, with mixed drinks, and an assortment of pizzas as a midnight snack that was a total success.
