Next week we have the first wedding of the season, and for this reason, today we will talk about Mediterranean weddings in Masia Casa del Mar, more specifically about Jenny & Tim's wedding.
We are too excited as we are back in action, and we can finally see the work of so many months behind the screens in reality.
We will do the first wedding very close to Sitges, more specifically in Almiral de la Font (Sant Pere de Ribes), one of the outstanding venues for the 2023 wedding season.
But, going back to Jenny & Tim, let's see in detail how their wedding was in front of the incredible sea in Sitges.
Destination wedding in Sitges
We added one more wedding to the list of destination weddings of which we have been a part.
Jenny & Tim, residents of Ireland, chose Sitges to celebrate their wedding. A warm place, with good gastronomy and where you can enjoy a unique wedding with your loved ones, who were not few.
They mobilized 100 people to Barcelona to say yes I do.
A space with sea views
Almost all of us know Masia Casa del Mar, right?
For us, more than another space in which to celebrate a wedding or an event, a paradise with personality, history, an exclusive environment that is also literally located in front of the sea.
Its views there have a plus of magic that improves the mood; an infinite landscape that is pleasing, the relaxing sound of the waves and the wonderful atmosphere that is created.
It has unique spaces to accompany your celebration, it has an area specially set up for the ceremony, outdoor spaces perfectly equipped for cocktails and banquets, an indoor lounge in case you prefer covered spaces or if you need a plan B due to the storm, rooms in the house where your guests can stay and much more.

The Mediterranean vibes flooded this wedding. It is not surprising that they chose this venue to get married since it seemed tailor-made with the style they had selected.
Barcelona Brides team took care of the entire organization with its impeccable wedding planner service.
Loving the flowers were responsible for dressing the space with the floral decoration chosen by the couple.
And I love you photographed his big day and Eduard Granell did the same on video.
Soundworks was in charge of lighting and sound, a must for any celebration!
And finally, we, ESKISIT Catering, take care of another part that is very important in all weddings; the catering service, the gastronomy, the bar service, the coordination of the event as well as the assembly and disassembly of all the furniture.
Mediterranean menu for weddings
The international couple chose the classic wedding banquet menu but as a first course, they opted for the most typical option that we have around here (instead of a cold first course); the tapas to share.
A format that we love. It may seem strange but it is familiar, close and also brings an informal touch to the celebration. Who does not have good memories of a lunch or dinner with friends/family sharing several dishes in the middle of the table?
For this they chose padron peppers (some are hot and others are not), the traditional patatas bravas, the squid "a la romana" and some mussels with seafood sauce, delicious!
The main dish that the couple wanted to offer their guests was the tender Mellow beef with baked potatoes and glazed pearl onions. A must!
They followed with a citrus and vegetable sorbet (which please let us recommend and don't go by the name, for us it's the best flavor!), then an irresistible wedding cake prepared in our own bakery and a cocktail to finish with dinner.
Espresso martini for all the guests!
To end the wedding they had a party with five hours of open bar.
