Jan & Kasia at Masia Santa Monica

Jan & Kasia decided to celebrate their destination wedding at Masia Santa Monica, a space that conveys naturalness, calm and is located in a unique setting; surrounded by nature.


The young couple organized their wedding from Poland, and it was great to be able to help them with the process. Like other couples, they didn't have the opportunity to come and have a tasting menu and try their wedding menu beforehand.


So, in addition to having constant communication with them, we organized a video call to talk exclusively about their wedding menu. We explained options to them and gave them recommendations based on their tastes and the most successful dishes from our Mediterranean wedding menu.


We work remotely on all the details of your celebration here in Barcelona; the seating plan, the areas for each part of the wedding, how you wanted your cake to be decorated, your guests' allergies, schedules, etc.


Below we show you the inspiration photo that the couple sent us for their wedding cake, and the photo that we sent them, as a catering company, of the material they had selected for the dinner;



*Being able to see this photo with the dinner set-up, which for many may be very simple, allows the couple to see how their wedding set-up will look; to know if they like it, to imagine how it will look on the day of the event and to see alternatives if they are not convinced.


One detail that may not initially seem very attractive in wedding decorations and elements is using black color, which as you can see was the case with Jan & Kasia. But we loved it!

The truth is that it gives a very different point to what everyone else does, going out of the ordinary, and they did it by adding elegance to their wedding.


Masia Santa Mónica

This is not the first wedding we have held at this venue, and we hope it won't be the last.

We had previously been to Masia Santa Monica. It is located in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, and is a perfect space for those who want to celebrate more intimate weddings.


Why?

Easy! It's a slightly secluded space, so you can be disconnected from your loved ones. Plus, it has its own accommodation, so if the number of guests matches the available rooms, you can all be together in the same place.


Enjoying a wedding like this is a privilege, since it allows you not only to be present at the wedding itself, but you can also experience the entire day's process, the preparations and other unique details.

You can have breakfast with the bride and groom, you can see how the bride puts on her makeup, you can see the groom's nerves at being present at one of the most important days of his life.


There are many people who take advantage of the opportunity to spend 2 or 3 days with family and friends in the same space and enjoy quality time. There are few times when you can gather all your loved ones in the same place, so you have to make the most of that moment.

We go back to May 1st 2024, to remember this beautiful day.


We started with a welcome drinks for the guests to have something to drink while they waited for the ceremony to begin. Mini mojito, water with fruit and refreshing lemonade.


About 30 minutes later and after saying "I do", we started the aperitif!

Laughter and a good atmosphere accompanied by irresistible appetizers and a drinks bar. The waiters passed around appetizers, such as prawn and chipotle mayo brioche and mini pita with falafel and yogurt sauce, and the guests enjoyed this wonderful moment.


Jan & Kasia decided to accompany the cocktail time with two buffets;

  • Paella corner: Fideuá "el Senyoret", Chicken paella & Black rice, with homemade "all i oli" sauce to accompany.

  • Skewers corner: entraña skewer, chicken skewer y vegetables skewer cooked at the moment, with three different sauces to accompany; "all i oli", chimichurri & criolla sauce.


We moved on to dinner. They chose to have their wedding banquet outside, in front of the main house's façade, with long tables set up with tablecloths.

After the delicious dinner, the wedding continued with a 4 hour open bar and a late-night snack with local classics. We set up a buffet with an assortment of national cheeses and Iberian charcuterie, with a selection of artisan breads, breadsticks, jams (which cannot be missing to accompany cheeses) and fruit.
