A wedding in Almiral de la Font

Hi again!

As you already know, our favorite articles are those that recount royal weddings of which we have been a part. In this case, we go back to a space located in Sant Pere de Ribes where we have had the pleasure of working on several occasions, and today, we are going to tell you about a wedding in Almiral de la Font.

A wonderful space in which we hope to continue creating many more unforgettable moments.

On this occasion we were very lucky to work hand in hand with excellent partners:

Almiral de la Font

We are not talking about another venue in which to celebrate a wedding near Sitges. We are referring to a luxurious and restored farmhouse that has been cared for in detail and has become an authentic experience.

It hosts all kinds of weddings, celebrations and events, however, this is a place that you should add to your list if you are looking to celebrate several days in a row.

As we have told you, it is a villa with accommodation that allows you to enjoy this unique and special moment with your guests. Enjoy the days by the pool, a pre-wedding barbecue, on the wedding day from early in the morning, a post-wedding brunch, and still, you still have days left there.

Getting married in Sant Pere de Ribes

There are many areas in Garraf to say yes. Sometimes we idealize Barcelona because it is the general rule. And who says Barcelona, also talks about the Costa Brava, La Cerdanya and other destinations that we find in Catalonia.

But we assure you that if you want a Mediterranean, calm environment with an excellent climate, you have to value our entire region.

Canyelles, Cubelles, Olivella, Sant Pere de Ribes, Sitges & Vilanova i la Geltrú. You will find a wide variety of spaces for events and weddings that you cannot even imagine, and among them, you will come across Almiral de la Font.

Cassandra & Andrew

In order to tell you a little about this wonderful wedding, we go back to 2021.

A couple who came from the United States to get married and who had to postpone their wedding due to the situation we suffered from COVID-19.

The date on which they celebrated the big day was finally October 16, 2021.

They were very clear that they wanted a wedding in which Mediterranean gastronomy predominated with high quality and local products.

The wedding menu

ESKISIT Catering served a 100% personalized menu to the taste of the couple. We did not start with the aperitif, but rather, the couple decided that before their wedding ceremony they wanted to offer the guests a welcome so that they could refresh themselves with delicious fresh natural lemonade.

Finished the first part of the wedding, now we start the best moment of a celebration (for us); the cocktail!

They selected irresistible appetizers in which the flavor of the Mediterranean tradition was embodied.

You know what? Your guests tried a reference that we currently do not have on the menu, but that we can add to your event or wedding if it conquers you;

Foie bonbon with dried fruit crocanti, apple compote and Pedro Ximénez. Served in an edible spoon.

What do you think about it?

The guests want the waitstaff to stop by again with this repeat-worthy appetizer, a real treat!

To complement the cocktail aperitif, our proposal contains buffets or gastronomic corners. They will decide to add the following; Cheeses, Iberian's and cut ham with a 100% Iberian breed acorn-fed ham (the favourite).

Dinner was also special, because they opted for tapas as a starter.

It is a format that we love because it has a familiar and close style, and breaks with the traditional first course. However, you do not give up the classic either, since the second remains an individual dish.

Wedding cake, yes or not?

They also said yes to the wedding cake and we prepared a sweet, tempting and beautiful two-tiered cake for the occasion. Of course, having two, they did not hesitate to choose two different flavors for the wedding cake. The lucky ones were red velvet & dulce de leche (with chocolate cake).

What did they do here differently? Continue with the "family style". The cakes were cut into small portions and placed in the center of the table so that the guests could take small portions and slowly taste the sweet wedding dessert.

After dessert comes the party, we all know the order of weddings!

They opted for four hours of open bar and a snort in the middle of them that no guest could resist; Churros with chocolate.

The series of choices and combinations that Cassandra & Andrew made were spectacular. They got a Mediterranean menu, with unique products and gastronomy that conquered the palates of all their guests.

They say that food is one of the things that people remember most about a wedding. And so it was in the C & A.

We leave you with a brief selection of photographs below so that you can experience and also enjoy this wonderful wedding in Almiral de la Font.
