A very elegant wedding at Mas Palou

Mas Palou was the space chosen by Charlotte & Lachlan to celebrate their destination wedding.


Since we discovered this venue located in Penedès, it has stolen our hearts. We are talking about a family project, in which the relationship is always direct with the family (they manage everything themselves) and in which every corner is unique and special.


It goes beyond the conventional and typical wedding spaces in Barcelona, and has an exclusive atmosphere, since it is surrounded by vineyards,

Mas Palou also makes its own organic wines. In fact, at all the weddings we do in this unique Masia, we use its white wine;

However, it is not the only one available. They are already up to date with the latest trends in wines, and they make their own orange wine; Brisat d'àmfora.


As they themselves describe, it is a rural space with a Mediterranean essence, a key factor for couples who get married in this area, but at the same time it has an elegant character.


Depending on the decorations you choose, you can achieve a formal and at the same time relaxed wedding, as Mas Palou offers you this through its unmistakable personality.

We had the pleasure not only of working in a space where we feel very comfortable, also with an incredible wedding planner team; The Planner Co


Darina & the team of The Planner Co. were in charge of designing the styling for Charlotte & Lachlan's wedding together with the couple. Y Ferrer & Mayor captured the entire wedding through their wonderful photos.


They go ahead for neutral and simple colors, such as stone grey, which gave the wedding a very fine touch.

They added color and brightness through some accessories, such as the menu on the table and the names of the guests.

These designs had a casual character, colorful letters and drawings that seemed handmade.

We could say that this peculiarity in graphic designs for wedding stationery has been very common during 2024, so it has set a trend.


Also the floral decorations, by Nice Flowers, were responsible for bringing color to the banquet tables. Orange, yellow and white flowers along with a variety of fruits and ceramic jars were the stars of the dinner tables.


We could also point out, without a doubt, that the orange color was very present at the wedding. Later on we will show you the incredible wedding cake that we created for dessert (in which, of course, this color was not missing).

They organized the different areas of the space so that each part of the wedding was held in a different location.


The welcome drinks was served at the entrance of the venue. Water with fruit, refreshing lemonade and a mini mojito to welcome the guests before the ceremony began.


The ceremony? It took place right next to Mas Palou chapel.



We went down a ramp and some stairs and moved to the garden below to enjoy the cocktail hour.

Several appetizers served by the waiters, a paella corner with 3 different flavors available and a drinks bar that included Mas Palou white wine and cava at the request of the bride and groom.


To enjoy the wedding banquet, the guests moved upstairs again, as it took place in front of the main house.



A dinner where they were able to bring together their loved ones to celebrate one of the most important days of their life.


The wedding menu selected by the couple, after going to Sitges previously to do a tasting, featured the following:


Starter - tapas to share

Assortment of Spanish cheese and charcuterie

Fresh salad with apple, nuts and honey and mustard vinaigrette

Padron peppers

Fried aubergines dipped with cane honey


Main course

Cantabrian hake in a green sauce accompanied by clams


Pre-dessert

Passion fruit sorbet

The wedding cake

We had to dedicate a special section to it as its design was one of our favorites from last season. Charlotte & Lachlan sent us the inspiration of how they wanted the exterior to be. The interior had already been decided previously in the menu test; Madagascar vanilla sponge cake with poppy seeds and creamy lemon filling.


A winning combination since it is the perfect mix of sweet and acidic.


Following the initial reference photo, we prepared this spectacular, refined and attractive cake for their dessert;



In addition, we recreated the same cake but in a mini and gluten-free version, since the groom was celiac and could not eat gluten.



The best reward after months and months of work is the happiness of the bride and groom with the end result.


There is no greater satisfaction than being able to see that we have achieved what they wanted, in this case, the cake of their dreams for their perfect destination wedding.

And this is how Charlotte and Lachlan's elegant wedding at Mas Palou was, surrounded by vineyards and in the best company.
